is a Danish European Social Fund project.
The project has been running since June
2005.
The b2r students are working on improving
their skills and/or starting their own
Company while studying at the Business2raise
facilities at Tietgen Business College
in Odense, Denmark.

case-study area with

The Business2raise methods have proved
to be very effective in order for students
to innovate new ideas and business concepts
and turn them into unique business services
and products.
Business2raise.com - being a private brand
as well - hope to be able to fundraise
for a permanent house of innovations in
regards to Internet related eduation and
business solutions.
Is the Business2raise a successful Danish
project?
Business2raise is a very successful Danish
project in the sense that most of the
goals that were stated in the project
application have been met. The 2 main
goals are:
7 students build their own company.
11 students get a job.
So far 45 students have started a new
job after attending the B2r course, and
14 students have started their own business.
So the goals have been met indeed.
What is still lacking, as far as fulfilling
the goal for Project Manager and course-inventor
Henriette Birk, is that many students
will work on international concept development
in order to offer services to countries
outside Denmark. Some students are preparing
their business concept for foreign markets
at this point and understand their future
international potential. But the reality
is, that most teachers and companies,
who can be hired as consultants to teach
the students various business related
subjects, do not encourage entrepreneurs
to sell any type of products outside Denmark.
They simply do not have the knowledge
to do so.
A 2 year enlightenment
period for Danish leaders and Education

This discouraging situation prompted Project
Manager Henriette Birk to set up a goal
for yet another project that can inspire
the teachers from colleges and universities
- and the consultants from private companies.

ID Denmark 2007-2010 project.
